Cartoon Pterodactyl Flying Over Three Little Palm Trees

Coloring guide
A goofy pterodactyl glides across the page with its wings stretched wide and its long beak open. It has big round eyes, a pointed crest on the back of its head, and a scattering of spots on its face and body. The wings have ribbed, bat-like panels with little claw tufts at the joints, and two more clawed feet trail behind. Fluffy clouds and a round sun sit at the top, while three small trees with striped trunks and leafy, dotted leaves stand along the bottom. The big wing panels and spots are easy for small hands to fill in. Try using two or three colors for the wing sections, then give the spots a contrasting shade. This free printable also works well for a quick lesson on flying reptiles from the dinosaur era.
