Cat Peeking Over a Smiling Jack-o'-Lantern

A slender cat sits tucked behind a round pumpkin, with its head and shoulders rising above the top. Its tail curls out on the left side and ends in a little hook. The cat has two tall pointed ears with inner ear outlines, large almond-shaped eyes with narrow slit pupils, a small nose, and long whiskers stretching out to the right. The pumpkin has a short thick stem and a single leaf with tiny vein lines. It is carved with two triangle eyes, a triangle nose, and a wide grin with jagged teeth. The ridged sections along the pumpkin's edge are easy to follow. The cat's outline is open and simple, which suits younger kids. Try coloring the cat in solid black and leaving the pumpkin eyes and mouth yellow, as if a candle is glowing inside. This free printable also works well for talking about shapes, since the carved face uses several triangles.
