Yoga Cat Stretching on a Rolled Mat

Coloring guide
This kitten is doing something like a downward-dog yoga pose, with its front paws reaching forward and its tail curled high. It stands on a rolled-up mat, and the curled end of the mat is drawn at the bottom of the page. The face is happy, with big round eyes, a small triangle nose, whiskers and an open smile. Stripes on the forehead, back and sides make it fun to color. In the corner behind, a leafy potted plant sits where two lines mark the wall and floor. Big shapes and bold outlines make it easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids using crayons or chunky markers. An orange kitten with darker orange stripes looks good, and a purple mat and bright green leaves round it out. Print it free for a classroom project or weekend craft. Love this Cats coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the cat's body, head, and legs in golden orange, leaving the belly patch and the eye whites white.
- 2Color the yoga mat and its rolled end in sky blue, and add a pale blue shadow where the cat's leg meets the mat.
- 3Fill the pot in lavender purple and the plant leaves in leaf green, keeping the wall areas white.
- 4Add the pale pink inside of both ears and the pink tongue.
- 5Color the forehead stripes and small tabby marks on the head in brown, and fill the cheeks in golden orange.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker orange along the back and under the tail for a bit of depth, leaving the whiskers and the eye shines white.
