Cheerful Octopus With Curly Tentacles and Bubbles

Coloring guide
Front and center is a happy octopus with a big round head, wide sparkly eyes and an open smile. Eight curly tentacles stretch out in all directions, and every one has little oval suckers you can color one at a time. Bubbles, both small and large, drift around the edges, with a few near the top and bottom corners. Nothing else is on the page, so the octopus gets all the attention. Thick, clear outlines help preschoolers and early elementary kids who are still working on staying inside the lines. A bright purple or orange body with soft pink suckers looks nice, and pale blue works for the bubbles. Print this free page for classroom time or a rainy day. Add this to your Octopus coloring page collection, alongside Dragonfly and Giraffe.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the octopus head, all the arms and the central tentacle in soft purple, leaving the little gaps between the curly tips white.
- 2Fill the open smile with coral pink for a cheerful tongue, keeping the mouth outline dark.
- 3Color the bubbles around the octopus with sky blue, leaving a small white shine spot in each bubble.
- 4Keep the eye whites and the bright shine spots in the eyes white, then fill the black pupils with a dark color.
- 5Optional: add a slightly darker purple along the lower edges of the head and tentacles for a little depth.
