Christmas for Kids: Squirrel With an Acorn and a Little Bird

Here's a cheerful squirrel perched on a snowy pine branch, hugging a big acorn in both paws. A small bird sits next to it, gazing up at the squirrel's face. The squirrel has tufted ears, big sparkly eyes and a fluffy curled tail, which gives you lots of fur to color. The branch is dressed up for the holidays with a large ribbon bow, trailing ribbon tails, two pinecones and two hanging ornaments, and one ornament has a snowflake on it. Round snowflakes drift down in the background. Colored pencils suit the pinecone scales and pine needles nicely, while chunky crayons can handle the bow and ornaments. An orange-brown squirrel, a red bow and a blue bird would look great together. Print it free for a quiet winter afternoon or a classroom holiday activity.
