Cozy Watermelon House With Birds and a Garden Path
Coloring guide
A giant watermelon has been turned into a cozy round house, with wavy stripes down its rind and a curly stem on top. Two little birds sit on the roof, one on the stem and one near the leafy vine climbing the right side. The house has a round wooden door with a small round window, a hanging lantern above, and two arched windows with flower boxes. A stepping-stone path winds through flowers to the front step. Filling the background are a wooden picket fence, bushes, a big tree, distant hills, a lake, puffy clouds and a smiling sun. Two shades of green on the rind would look nice, with bright pinks and yellows in the flower boxes. Print or download this free page for a quick coloring break. Looking for more? - 2Fill the round door, its panels and the flower box planters with brown, and keep the small round door window bright.
- 3Paint the tree, bushes, leaves and vines with leaf green and lime green, and color the grass patches with mint green.
- 4Color the clouds and the left window glass pale blue or sky blue, the lake with ocean blue, and the top bird with pale sage and the second bird with golden yellow.
- 5Color the stepping stones, the doorstep and the path with warm gray, and leave the large flowers cream.
- 6Optional: add soft shading by going over parts of the pumpkin and leaves with a slightly darker shade of the same color.
