Here is a front-facing portrait of a wide-eyed tiger cub looking straight at you. The big round eyes have shiny highlights, the nose is small and heart-shaped, and the closed mouth makes a gentle smile. Long whiskers fan out on each side and little dots sit along the muzzle. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the whole face, forehead and shoulders with tiger orange, leaving the chest and the cream areas for later.
- 2Fill the inside of both ears and the nose with soft pink.
- 3Color the eye irises golden yellow, then leave the eye whites and the small shine spots white.
- 4Fill the cream areas of the cheeks, jaw, chest, ear fur and whisker area with cream white.
- 5Color the stripes on the forehead, brows, cheeks, around the eyes and on the shoulders with charcoal black, and add the top forehead stripe in dark brown.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a slightly darker orange along the edges of the face to make it look more rounded.
