A smiling baby peacock stands front and center on a small grassy hill, with its big round tail feathers spread wide on both sides. The feathers have nested oval rings, perfect for layering colors. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the peacock's body and head in ocean blue, leaving the eye whites and the sky inside the rainbow white.
- 2Fill the big fan of tail feathers with grass green, emerald green, and teal green, alternating shades so each feather stands out.
- 3Color the round eyespots on the tail with golden yellow rings and bright blue centers, then add royal blue to the crest feathers on top of the head.
- 4Color the rainbow with bright red on the outer arc, amber orange in the middle, and ocean blue on the inner arc, then fill the clouds with pale blue and the sun's rays with golden yellow.
- 5Add lime green and turquoise to the wing feathers and neck, then color the beak golden yellow and the feet amber orange. Optional: add a little darker shading under the wings for depth.
- 6Finish the flowers with soft pink petals, golden yellow centers, and emerald green leaves and grass, and color the left butterfly soft pink.
