Earth Hugging a Tree for Earth Day
Coloring guide
One little arm of this cheerful cartoon Earth is wrapped around the trunk of a tall tree, and its other hand peeks out from behind the bark. Big sparkling eyes and an open smile light up its face, and the continents are outlined on the globe. The tree has a puffy, cloud-shaped crown dotted with pointed leaves. Along the bottom, tufts of grass and three simple flowers with round centers cover the ground. Bold, clean lines and big open spaces make it a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and it could suit a classroom nature lesson. Blue oceans and green continents will make Earth stand out, with warm browns on the trunk and pink or yellow flowers. Print it at home for your growing collection.
