Elephant Calf Holding Mama's Tail on a Sunny Hill

Coloring guide
A little calf follows right behind its mother, hanging on to the tuft of her tail with its trunk, and both of them are smiling. Mama walks toward the right with big floppy ears, a curled trunk and wide, friendly eyes. The baby looks up with a happy grin and has a small tail of its own. A round sun with long rays shines in the corner, and a rounded bush and a small tree sit on a gentle hill with tufts of grass scattered around. Bold outlines and roomy shapes keep it simple for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and it's a free print for home or the classroom. Gray-blue elephants, a yellow sun and a few different greens for the bushes and grass would work nicely. Love this Elephant coloring page? You might also enjoy our Wolves and Lion coloring pages.

- 3Color the left bush forest green and the bush on the right bright green, leaving the background white.
- 4Fill the inner parts of both ears with light pink.
- 5Add a lime green patch behind the mama's legs and the baby calf, and color the mama's tail tuft charcoal gray.
- 6Color the toenails cream. Optional: add a little darker gray under the elephants for a bit of depth.
