Elf Girl Archer Aiming at a Tree Target
Coloring guide
A young elf girl with pointed ears and a long side braid stands with her feet wide apart, drawing back her bow to aim at a round bullseye on a big tree trunk. She has a belted tunic, a strap across her chest, wrist cuffs and tall boots with folded tops. A quiver of arrows is tucked behind her shoulder. Little tufts of grass dot the ground and leafy bushes fill in behind the tree. Kids who like fantasy characters will find plenty to color here, from the braid and tunic to the rings on the target. A forest green tunic with brown boots and a red and yellow bullseye will make the target stand out against the bark. The big, clear shapes suit crayons and markers, and this page is a free printable. Kids who like Elf coloring pages usually enjoy Unicorns and Dragons too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big brown areas: fill the tree trunk and the bow with warm brown, and the belt around the waist with the same warm brown.
- 2Color the tree canopy, the bushes on both sides, and the archer's tunic, sleeves and skirt with forest green.
- 3Fill the trousers and boots with dark brown, and color the boot cuffs warm brown.
- 4Color the hair and long braid golden yellow, and the face, ears and hands peach skin, leaving the eye whites and arrow shaft white.
- 5Paint the target: the outer ring sandy tan, the blue ring ocean blue, the red rings tomato red, and the center golden yellow. Use lime green for the wrist cuffs.
- 6Optional: add a darker shade of the same color along one side of the tunic or the trunk to give depth.
