Sweet Elf Girl Cuddling a Baby Fawn Among Flowers
Coloring guide
In this gentle outdoor scene, a smiling little elf girl with pointed ears and two long braids puts her arms around a baby deer. Her long-sleeved dress has a hooded collar and a belt, and she has chunky boots on. The spotted fawn leans in close with big sparkling eyes and a soft smile. A leafy tree with a wide trunk stands on a small grassy hill behind them, with grass tufts scattered about. Big flowers with round centers fill the corners, and one smaller flower sits to the right of the fawn. Bold outlines and roomy shapes keep this free printable easy for young colorists. Soft browns and warm tan suit the fawn, with creamy white spots. For the dress, a bright teal or plum will help her stand out from the green garden. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the girl's dress, sleeves and the gap-free areas of her outfit with sky blue, leaving the white collar at her neck unpainted.
- 2Color the tree canopy, left grass and the flower leaves with grass green and leaf green, then paint the tree trunk chestnut brown and keep its right-edge highlight white.
- 3Use peach skin for the girl's face, ears, hands and legs, and caramel tan for the fawn's head, body, legs and tail. Leave the eye whites and smile teeth white.
- 4Color the girl's braids and hair with auburn, then the fawn's hooves with dark chocolate brown and the boots with chestnut brown.
- 5Fill the flower centers and the girl's belt buckle with golden yellow, leaving the flower petals white. Optional: add a slightly darker tan under the fawn and a few light caramel strokes on the fawn's neck for depth.
