Fancy Painted Watermelon on a Platter With Strawberries and Grapes

An oval platter holds a large whole watermelon whose rind is covered in a detailed pattern of flowers, leaves and swirling vines. One big daisy-like bloom takes the center, with smaller flowers and pointed leaves around it, and a curly stem and leaf on top. Strawberries with tiny seed dots and clusters of round grapes sit around the base of the platter. Underneath, the table has wood plank lines and a checkered cloth corner. Behind it are a wooden fence, a calm stretch of water, puffy clouds, a leafy tree branch and flowering bushes framing the edges. The fine patterns are best for older kids who like careful detail, and it makes a quiet summer afternoon activity as a free printable. Deep green and pale green stripes on the rind with bright pink and yellow flowers will make the pattern stand out. Fans of Watermelon coloring pages often like Vegetable and Police Officer as well.
