Farmer on a Tractor by the Barn: Advanced Designs Farm Page
Coloring guide
A grinning farmer in a wide-brimmed hat and overalls sits in the cab of a big tractor with his hands on the wheel, rolling down a dirt path. Behind him are a classic barn with a hay loft window and crossed-board doors, a wooden fence and a few rounded bushes. A sun with long rays shines in the upper left, and grass tufts and pebbles dot the ground. The chunky tires have bold zigzag treads, and the grille, headlights and exhaust pipe add plenty of detail. It's a free printable for kids who love vehicles and farm life, and the large and small areas work for crayons or fine markers. Go for a green tractor and a red barn, and save the yellow for the sun and the farmer's hat. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sun, the tractor hubs, and the tire centers in golden yellow, and the straw hat band in the same golden yellow.
- 2Fill the tractor body, hood, cab roof, grille, fenders, barn walls, and the farmer's shirt and sleeves in bright red, leaving the headlights and the cab windows white.
- 3Color the big tires, the cab frame, the exhaust pipe, and the bumper in charcoal gray, and use steel gray for the seat, cab pillar, and fence rails near the tractor.
- 4Paint the grass and bushes in grass green, the lime green patches on the lawn and fence posts, and the dirt path and fence posts in sandy tan.
- 5Finish with navy blue on the overall bib and pants, peach skin on the farmer's face and hand, and straw yellow on the hat. Optional: add a little extra shading on the tires to make them look more rugged.
