Five Elephants Walking the Savanna by a Mountain
Coloring guide
This detailed page shows five elephants strolling side by side through a grassy savanna. Two large adults with tusks stand in the middle, a young elephant is on each side of them, and a tiny calf walks front and center. Each one has big, friendly eyes and wrinkled trunk lines that are fun to color. Flat-topped acacia trees spread across the plain behind them, a wide mountain rises on the horizon, and puffy clouds fill the sky with a flock of birds overhead. The foreground has tufts of grass, rocks, leafy bushes and a few budding flowers. Blue-gray elephants, golden yellow grass and a purple-blue mountain make a nice mix. Print it at home, no sign-up required. More like this: explore the Elephant, Wolves and Lion coloring page collections.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big grassy savanna and the ground plants in yellow green, leaving the white flowers and small highlights untouched.
- 2Color the five elephants' bodies, heads, trunks and legs in elephant gray, leaving the tusks and the bright white belly marks unpainted.
- 3Fill all the big floppy ears and the baby elephants' ears in coral pink, so every elephant has a warm glow.
- 4Paint the tall mountain in warm brown, add the light gray snowcap on top, and color the distant hills in teal blue.
- 5Color the sky in sky blue and the acacia trees and bushes in leafy green, keeping the clouds and birds white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker gray strokes on the sides of the elephants and deeper green at the bottom of the bushes to give them more depth.
