Five Little Peas, a Vegetable Pod to Color

Coloring guide
Five round little peas are stacked one above another inside a single open pod. Each pea has a happy face with sparkly eyes, a big open smile and rosy cheek circles. The pod is long and curved, with a leafy cap and a curled stem at the top. Pointed leaves with center veins sit on the left and lower right, and a curly tendril swirls on each side. With no background, the page stays clean and uncluttered, and the bold outlines are easy for small hands to follow. Try a range of greens for the peas, from lime to deep emerald, and a softer olive for the pod so the peas pop. Print it free to add to your growing stack of coloring pages. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring all five peas with a soft yellow green, leaving a small white shine spot on each one.
- 2Fill the leaves and the outer pod with a medium green, keeping the curly tendrils white.
- 3Color the inside of the pod with a bright green, then add dark green in the shadowy gaps between the peas.
- 4Add rose pink to the cheeks and smiles on every pea so they look cheerful.
- 5Optional: Add a little extra dark green along the edges of the peas and leaves to make them pop.
- 6Finish by leaving the eye whites and shine spots white, and make the pupils dark for a lively face.
