Fluffy Shetland Pony Standing in a Flower Field
Coloring guide
A chubby, shaggy pony stands in profile facing right, with a long fringe of hair falling over its face and a thick, wavy mane across its neck. Its long tail hangs almost to the ground, and the fuzzy coat has little tufts drawn along the body and furry feathering around the lower legs and hooves. The pony has a calm, sleepy eye and a small rounded nose. Behind it, soft rolling hills run across the page, and small flowers with rounded petals are scattered across the grass in the foreground. This free printable page has lots of hair texture to work with. Try colored pencils in layered browns, tans, and cream to show the thick fur, then use brighter shades for the flowers. It also makes a nice starting point for talking about pony breeds and why some ponies grow such fluffy coats.
