Friendly Police Officer Helicopter Hovering Above a Town
Coloring guide
Hovering in the sky is a smiling cartoon helicopter with big round eyes and a rounded nose, and the star-shaped badge on its side shows it's a police helicopter. Underneath, a cozy village spreads out with houses, a church with a tall steeple, and a little park with benches, lamp posts and a fountain. Two small cars drive along a winding road, a stone bridge crosses a stream, and trees cover the hillsides, with mountains and puffy clouds far away. Young colorists can start with big simple shapes like the rotor blades and clouds, while detail fans can tackle the tiny roof tiles and windows. A deep blue helicopter with a bright yellow badge will stand out against a pale sky. Free to print, and nice for a rainy afternoon or a classroom lesson on community helpers. This fits right in with our Police Officer coloring pages — see also For Girls and For Kids.

- 3Fill the front and side windows with light sky blue, and the rotor blades in royal blue.
- 4Color the hills and the trees and bushes of the town in leaf green and grass green, adding forest green for the darker treetops.
- 5Paint the town roads and sidewalks in light gray, and the houses and church in cream and pale yellow.
- 6Finish with small details like the golden yellow badge, the stone bridge in silver gray, and the bright blue river. Optional: add a little darker shading to the trees for depth.
