Friendly Stegosaurus and Pteranodon Near Palm Trees

A smiling long-necked dinosaur with a round body walks across the page, with a row of big leaf-shaped plates down its back. Its belly and side have little spotted patches, and its feet have rounded toes. A cheerful pteranodon with a tall pointed head crest and wide wings flies in on the left and looks toward it. Behind the plates, a small horned creature is partly hidden. Around them are fluffy clouds, tufts of grass, a leafy plant near the tail, and a palm tree with a scaly trunk at the bottom. The large shapes are easy for small hands, and the spots and plates add detail for older kids. Try coloring each back plate a different shade, then talk about how the flying pteranodon and the walking dinosaur move differently. This page is free to print.
