Hand Showing ASL Number Six With Three Fingers Up

Coloring guide
A single open hand faces the viewer with the index, middle and ring fingers stretched upward and spread slightly apart. The thumb and pinky curl down toward the palm and touch at their tips, which matches the American Sign Language sign for the number six. The drawing uses a thick black outline on a plain white background, with a few small crease lines on the knuckles and the base of the thumb. The wrist is cropped at the bottom of the page. The large, open shapes are easy for small hands to color. Try one skin tone for the whole hand, then use a bright marker to trace the touching thumb and pinky so kids notice how that part of the sign works. This free printable also works well for a classroom number-signing station.
