Happy Ladybug on a Big Daisy

Coloring guide
A ladybug with big sparkly eyes and a happy smile sits on the fluffy middle of a large daisy, all shown on this free printable page. Two antennae curl up with round tips, and the little legs rest on the bumpy flower center. The rounded shell is covered in circles of different sizes, so kids can fill them in one at a time. Big smooth petals fan out around the center, and a long stem with a single leaf curves down at the bottom. There's no background, which leaves room for kids to draw their own. Classic red with black circles works well on the shell. Sunny yellow or soft pink would suit the petals, and a fresh green fits the stem and leaf. It's a nice choice for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Fans of Ladybug coloring pages often like Crab and Monkey as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the flower center golden yellow, keeping the scalloped edge neat.
- 2Fill the ladybug shell and both antenna tips with bright red, then color the face light peach.
- 3Color the flower stem and leaf leaf green, leaving the leaf's vein line white.
- 4Color the ladybug legs and the dark part of the body dark gray.
- 5Fill the round spots on the shell with black, and add the black pupils and smile on the face.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the lower edges of the shell and the leaf to make them pop, and keep the petals and eye whites white.
