Mama Ladybug Watching Her Three Babies on a Dewy Leaf
Coloring guide
A big smiling mama ladybug with long curly eyelashes and two antennae leans over the edge of a leaf to look down at three tiny babies crawling in a row. Her round shell has large circle spots, and each baby has a pattern of its own: small dots, tiny scattered circles, or a few bigger spots. Every baby has a happy face and little antennae. The leaf has a center vein and a curved stem, with round water droplets of different sizes sitting on top. Thick, clear outlines and big spots keep things easy for small hands. Maybe make mama red and give each baby its own color, like orange, pink and yellow, then dab light blue on the droplets. You can save it as a free PDF without signing up. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big leaf and its veins in leaf green, then add dark forest green on the shaded parts under the ladybug and babies.
- 2Fill the large ladybug shell and the three baby shells with bright red.
- 3Color the faces, the ladybug's head, and the cheeks in peach skin, leaving the eye whites white.
- 4Fill the dew drops on the leaf with lime green.
- 5Add the spots, antennae, legs, and eyes in charcoal black, keeping the small eye highlights white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra charcoal black shading along the edges of the shells for a more rounded look.
