Happy Number 7 With Seven Smiling Raindrops

A big, rounded number 7 with a cheerful face takes up most of the page. It has wide round eyes with little highlights, curved eyebrows, and an open smiling mouth. Along the right side of the 7, seven small teardrop shapes are stacked in a loose column, and each one has two dot eyes and a tiny smile. The thick, simple outlines make everything easy to color, even for younger kids with big crayons. Try counting the drops out loud together as you color them, using a different shade of blue, green, or purple for each one so children can see that there are seven. The large empty body of the 7 is a nice place for patterns, stripes, or polka dots. This free printable works well for number practice at home or in the classroom.
