Snail on a Mushroom in Spring Rain

Coloring guide
Sitting on a spotted mushroom cap, a smiling snail with a big swirly shell grins as raindrops fall around it. Its two long eyestalks stand straight up. A large leaf arches across the top of the page, with one drop about to fall from its tip, and two more leaves tuck in behind the mushroom on the left and right. Tufts of grass fill the bottom corners beside the thick stalk. The cap has oval spots in different sizes, and thin gill lines show underneath. That wide spiral on the shell is a good challenge for small hands working on slow, curving strokes. Warm orange and yellow stripes would look nice on the shell, with soft blue raindrops so the snail stands out. Grab it for a classroom project or a weekend craft.
