This little wolf pup is mid-leap over a grassy meadow, all four paws in the air and a huge smile on its face. There's lots of texture to color, from the fluffy chest and cheeks to the pointed ears and the big bushy tail swooshing out behind. Daisy-style flowers with round centers fill the foreground, along with grass tufts and a few buds tucked into the corners. Rolling hills run across the back under three puffy clouds. Outlines are bold and clear, so younger kids can color without fuss while older ones can add their own detail. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the wolf's body and legs cool gray, leaving the face, chest fur, tail and front leg white.
- 2Fill the clouds with sky blue, then color the rolling hills and grass tufts light green.
- 3Color the bushes and the leafy plants at the bottom of the page forest green and leaf green, using a mix of shades for depth.
- 4Add the inside of the ears and the open mouth in blush pink, and leave the eye whites and the fur highlights white.
- 5Color the daisy petals orange and rose pink, and fill the flower centers with lemon yellow and golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker gray along the wolf's belly and under the legs to make the body look more rounded.
