Hard-Hat Forklift Driver Hauling a Wooden Crate

A forklift sits on a flat ground line with a driver seated in the cab, wearing a hard hat and holding the controls. The image is turned on its side, so you may want to rotate the page before coloring. The forks are raised and hold a big wooden crate with horizontal slats and a thick diagonal brace across the front. The drawing also shows the tall mast with its chain, a roof guard over the operator, a seat, and two chunky tires with bolt patterns on the wheel hubs. The bold, clear outlines make it easy for kids to follow. Try coloring the crate in warm wood browns, then pick a bright safety color for the forklift body and hard hat. It also works well for a talk about warehouse jobs and why workers wear protective gear. This printable page is a good fit for a rainy afternoon.
