Hedgehog Family Having Breakfast in Bed

Two grown-up hedgehogs sit up in a wooden four-poster bed with two small hedgehogs between them. One adult wears a frilly, lace-trimmed nightgown. The other wears a nightgown covered in crescent moons and stars. A round braided pastry or loaf sits on a tray in the middle, with a small bunch of flowers and a little cup beside it. The bedposts are rough branches topped with acorns, and a cushioned stool with a scalloped edge sits at the foot. The page is drawn sideways, so turn it a quarter turn before you start. Try coloring the moon and star nightgown in deep blues and yellows, then use warm browns for the quills. Kids can also count the stars and moons on the nightgown. It's a free printable that suits a cozy bedtime or morning story session.
