Hedgehog in a Reindeer Sweater Beside a Fallen Christmas Tree
Coloring guide
A hedgehog with a spiky back and a pointed little nose peeks out beside a big, round, knitted sweater with a reindeer pattern. It sits against an evergreen Christmas tree that lies on its side, with a star at the tip on the right. The branches are crowded with ornaments: round baubles, a teardrop-shaped ornament, a bell, a gingerbread man, candy canes and a small drum. A teddy bear sits near the star, and wooden slats stand at the left edge. The knit ribbing and the hedgehog's fur give you lots of texture to work with. Try short, pointy pencil strokes in browns and grays for the spines, then use bright colors for the ornaments. This page is free to print and works well for a winter art session at home or in class.
