Sitting upright in a grassy meadow, a little hedgehog looks up with a happy smile at a butterfly resting on the very tip of its nose. It has big round eyes, a rounded ear, a back covered in jagged spiky lines and a fluffy chest. Grass tufts surround it, along with three flowers with rounded petals, two low on either side and one taller on the right. A smiling sun with short rays shines in the top left corner. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the hedgehog's spiky back with chocolate brown, leaving the eye white and the ear uncolored.
- 2Fill the hedgehog's belly and lower body with light peach, then color the sun's face and the butterfly's body and head in golden yellow.
- 3Color the butterfly's wings with bubblegum pink on the outer edges and sky blue on the inner panels, adding lavender purple to the upper and lower sections.
- 4Paint the flowers: make the pink flower bubblegum pink with a golden yellow center, the purple flower lavender purple, and leave the left flower petals white with golden centers.
- 5Color the grass and leaves with leaf green, and add pale green to the bottom grass tufts.
- 6Optional: Add a little orchid pink to the butterfly's lower wing spots and rose pink to the wing edge for extra detail, then finish with tiny highlights left white.
