High Five Time With a Police Officer
Coloring guide
Here a smiling police officer kneels on one knee and slaps hands with a laughing little girl, and that happy moment is what this page is all about. He wears a peaked cap with a badge, a collared shirt and tie, shoulder epaulets, a chest radio and a belt with a pouch. The girl has a ponytail, a short-sleeved top, a flared skirt and strappy shoes, and her eyes are squeezed shut from giggling. Little burst lines by their hands show the clap. A park bench sits behind them with a few grass tufts at its feet. Big, clear shapes make it a good match for kids still working on pencil control. Navy for the uniform and sunshine yellow for the badge go well together, and a bright pink skirt for the girl adds fun. Print it free for the classroom or a weekend craft. - 1Color the officer's skin areas (face, hands, raised forearm) with peach skin, leaving the girl's face and arms the same way.
- 2Fill the officer's shirt and sleeves with sky blue, then color his pants and shoes with navy blue and dark gray.
- 3Color the girl's top with bubblegum pink, her skirt with lavender, and her shoes with bubblegum pink.
- 4Use caramel brown for the bench slats and dark brown for the girl's hair and the officer's hair, then add leaf green to the bushes and grass.
- 5Fill the badges, cap band, and belt buckle with golden yellow, and add dark gray to the belt, pouch, and shoe soles.
- 6Optional: Leave the background, the sock highlights, and the small gaps near the bench white for a bright, clean look.
