Hilltop Wolf Howling in One Long Diagonal

Hilltop Wolf Howling in One Long Diagonal coloring page

Coloring guide

A single wolf stands on the crest of a grassy hill with its head tipped far back and its mouth open in a howl. The body slants upward in one long diagonal line from the back legs to the nose, and you can see a pointed ear, a small eye, and rough, jagged edges along the chest and neck that suggest fur. Two front legs stand close together near the top of the hill, while the back legs and tail sit lower on the slope. The hill is just one simple curved line, so there is lots of open white space. Try soft grays, browns, and creamy tans on the wolf and leave the background bare, or add a night sky with crayons for a moonlit howl. This free printable also works well for a short lesson on why wolves howl.
