Maned Wolf Leaning Forward With a Curious Sideways Look

A long-legged wolf leans forward with its body arched and its head turned toward us, giving a curious sideways look. The big upright ears, pointed snout, and fluffy fur around the neck and shoulders are drawn with lots of short, sketchy lines. Its thin legs stretch out wide, and the paws rest on small tufts of grass and a few leafy plants at the bottom of the page. Line work is light and open, so there is plenty of room for blending. Try this free printable with colored pencils, using reddish orange for the coat and darker brown or black on the legs, then talk about why this animal's legs are so long and slim. Kids can add light and dark greens to the grass for extra depth.
