Long-Legged Maned Wolf Striding Through Tall Grass

A long-legged wolf walks to the left across a grassy field, head held low and nose pointed forward. Its ears are upright and its body is drawn with rough, scribbly fur lines along the neck, back, and chest. The legs are thin and bent mid-stride, and the bushy tail hangs down near a tall clump of grass on the right. Small tufts of grass are scattered along the ground below. The big open areas on the body are easy for small hands to fill in. Try reddish-orange and brown for the coat, then darker shades on the legs and ears to show how this animal looks different from a typical wolf. This free page also works well for a short lesson on wolves and how they move and hunt.
