Horse Chestnut Leaf With Five Serrated Leaflets

Coloring guide
Five long leaflets fan out from a single center point, each with a pointed tip and a jagged, toothed edge. Thin veins branch off a bold midrib in every leaflet, running toward the outline in neat curved lines. A slim stem extends from the center down to the lower right corner. The two upper leaflets are the biggest, the side ones stretch out left and right, and the smallest leaflet points down. The big open spaces between the veins are easy to fill, even for younger kids, while the toothed edges give older kids a bit of careful practice. Try coloring it in autumn shades, shifting from green near the center to gold and brown at the tips. It also works well for a nature lesson, since children can count the leaflets and compare the drawing with a real leaf. Print as many copies as you need.
