Fishing Boat Bible Scene With Jesus and Four Men
Coloring guide
In the middle of a wooden fishing boat, a smiling long-haired, bearded man in a robe and draped sash stands tall with one arm raised toward a sunny sky. Four bearded men in the boat look up at him. One at the front holds a big fishing net with floats, and a thick rope winds around the wooden post on the right. Gentle waves, hills, a small village on the shore, puffy clouds, a few birds and a sun with long rays fill the background. Large shapes are easy for small hands, and the net and waves give older kids more to enjoy. Warm yellow and orange suit the sun, soft blue the water, and brown tones the boat. - light sky blue
- denim blue
- sun yellow

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the water: fill the sea and lake areas around the boat with ocean blue, and the distant hills and village on the left with bright green and sage green.
- 2Color the boat wood in wood brown, including the hull, oar, and rim, then add the sky-blue patches of water along the edges.
- 3Fill Jesus's robe with scarlet red, and his tunic and raised sleeve with cream white, leaving the sun and clouds uncolored for now.
- 4Color the four men: use leaf green and denim blue for their clothes, chestnut brown and dark brown for their hair and beards, and skin peach for faces and hands.
- 5Color the sun sun yellow and add golden yellow to the sash of the man in the middle right.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on Jesus's robe folds and the boat's shadowed side with a deeper red and brown.
