Kitten Pouncing on Yarn, Advanced Designs Coloring Sheet
Coloring guide
This smiling kitten has big sparkly eyes and an open mouth, with one paw resting on a striped ball of yarn and the other stretched out front like it's about to pounce. Its long tail curls up behind in a tall S-shape, and fluffy fur tufts show on the head, cheeks and chest. A loose strand of yarn unwinds from the ball and swirls into a spiral on the floor. The kitten sits on a round rug with small tassels around the edge. Bold, clean outlines and a mix of big and small areas make it good practice for staying inside the lines. A red or purple yarn ball with a contrasting strand, plus a soft orange or gray kitten, would look sweet. Free to print for home or class. - 2Color the inside of both ears and the tongue with rose pink.
- 3Fill the round rug with leaf green and its outer ring with forest green.
- 4Color the yarn ball and the loose yarn thread with sky blue, then add royal blue to a few stripes for depth.
- 5Add cream to the muzzle and keep the paws, eye whites, and cheek highlight white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker orange along the kitten's belly and under the ears to make it look rounder.
