Large Aspen Leaf With Detailed Veins Outline

Coloring guide
A single big leaf fills the page, drawn with a heart-like rounded shape, a pointed tip at the upper left and a gently wavy edge all the way around. A long central midrib runs from the tip down to the base, where it continues into a thin stem curving off toward the lower right. Smaller veins branch from the midrib on both sides, some thick and some drawn with very fine lines, curving out toward the edges. The clean outline and open spaces between veins make it easy for kids to color. Try greens and yellows for an early autumn look, or use a darker shade along the veins and a lighter one in the sections between them. It also works well for a science lesson on leaf parts like the stem, midrib, and veins. Print a few copies so everyone can try different color mixes.
