Large Maple Leaf With Detailed Veins and Stem

Coloring guide
A single maple leaf fills the page, drawn in clean black outline with a long thin stem curving down from the bottom. Five pointed lobes fan out from the center, with a tall lobe at the top, two wide lobes on each side, and two smaller lobes near the base. Thick main veins branch out from the point where the stem meets the leaf, and many thinner curved veins spread off them like a web. The edges have sharp points and rounded notches, so there is a nice mix of small and large spaces to color. This page is free to print and works well for a fall nature lesson. Kids can trace the veins with a finger first, then color the leaf in autumn shades, using a different color in each section between the veins.
