Leaping Horse Outline With Curly Mane and Tail

Coloring guide
A single horse is caught mid-jump, drawn as one simple continuous outline with no shading or background. Its head is lifted at the right with a small eye, a nostril, and a mane of wavy, curled strands flowing along the neck. The front legs are tucked up and folded under the chest, while the back legs stretch out behind the body. A long tail ends in a little swirl at the far left. Because the lines are clean and the shape is open, there are big areas for crayons, markers, or watercolor. Try a chestnut brown body with a darker mane and tail, then use a lighter shade on the belly. This free printable also works well for a lesson on how animals move, since kids can trace the path of the jump with their finger before coloring.
