This little dump truck has big round eyes, rosy cheeks and a friendly smile. Its tipped-back bed carries three chunky toy blocks stacked together: one marked with a circle, one with a triangle, and a plain block on top. The rounded cab has a side window, the two big wheels have simple hub details, and the ridged bed has vertical slats. The whole thing sits on a round mat with a scalloped, lacy edge. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big round mat under the truck with lime green, then color its scalloped outer edge with leaf green.
- 2Color the truck cab, the red blocks, and the small corner by the bumper with fire red, leaving the eye whites white.
- 3Use royal blue for the front bumper, the blue chassis under the bed, and the blue blocks, then fill the windshield and side window with pale sky blue.
- 4Paint the dump bed, its rim, the headlights, the circle and triangle shapes, and the back edge golden yellow, then color the bed slats warm orange and the top green block bright green.
- 5Color the tires charcoal gray and the hubcaps silver gray, keeping the eye whites white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the lower sides of the blocks and the tires to make the truck look more solid.
