Tiny Elf Reading in a Tulip with Bees and a Ladybug
Coloring guide
Snug inside an open tulip blossom, a smiling little elf with pointy ears and a floppy pom-pom hat reads a small book. Two cheerful striped bees with round wings hover on either side, each leaving a looping dashed flight path. On the tulip's leaf below, a friendly ladybug with a spotted shell crawls along. Big petals, a long stem and two wide leaves leave lots of open space, so younger kids can use chunky crayons while older children add patterns. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big tulip: color the main petals and the back petals tomato red, leaving the white highlights along the edges.
- 2Color the tulip stem and both leaves in leaf green, then fill the ladybug's shell in tomato red.
- 3Fill the elf's hat and the hat pompom with tomato red and golden yellow, and color the face, hands and ears peach.
- 4Color the elf's tunic and sleeves in leaf green, the hair in chocolate brown, and the book in royal blue.
- 5Paint the bee bodies and stripes golden yellow and black, and the wings light blue, leaving the ladybug's face and eye shine white.
- 6Optional: add darker shading on the petals and leaves with a second shade of the same color for extra depth.
