Sitting up straight in the grass with a big open-mouth smile, this piglet wears a crown of large blossoms and leaves. It has sparkly eyes with lashes, floppy ears, a round snout and a curly tail on the right side. Tall grass tufts surround it, small bushes sit in the background, and several flowers with simple rounded petals grow around it, some on tall stems and some low by its front hooves. Clean lines and large shapes work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids with crayons or markers. Start with soft pink for the piglet, then use yellow, purple and orange on the flower crown so it pops against the green grass. You can save it as a free PDF, and there's no sign-up. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big pig shapes: fill the face, snout, both ears, forehead and body with salmon pink, using blush pink on the forehead.
- 2Color the hooves chocolate brown and the open mouth coral red, adding dark red inside the mouth. Leave the eye whites white.
- 3Paint the flower crown: use sky blue and periwinkle blue for the blue flowers, orchid purple for the purple ones, and rose pink for the pink ones. Keep the big top flower and its neighbors white.
- 4Fill the flower centers with golden yellow, then color the crown leaves forest green and the sea green leaf by the ear.
- 5Add the meadow: color the curly tail and grass blades grass green, and fill the pink meadow flowers with bubblegum pink and rose pink while leaving the white meadow flowers white. Optional: add a little darker shade on the body edges for depth.
