Long-Neck Dinosaur Bending Down Near a Pterosaur in Ferns

Coloring guide
A big long-neck dinosaur curls its neck down with its mouth open, and its tail sweeps in a long S-curve behind it. All four feet show round toes. On the left, a small pterosaur with a long pointed crest and wide wings opens its beak as if calling out. A third dinosaur with a spiky, leafy-looking frill peeks in near the top. Fern fronds, broad leaves, a flower-like bud, spiky bushes and a rocky or tree-trunk shape fill the edges. The scene is turned sideways on the page, so you can rotate it however you like. Try coloring the ferns in several greens to practice shading, then talk with kids about how a flying reptile and a long-neck dinosaur differ. This printable page works well for quiet time or a dinosaur unit.
