Long Slender Leaves on a Curved Branch

Coloring guide
A single branch sweeps diagonally from the upper right down toward the lower left, with six long, narrow leaves attached along it. Two leaves point outward to the left at the top, one fairly short and one stretched out much longer. Below them, four more leaves hang downward on thin stems, and each one tapers to a point at the tip. Every leaf has a center vein drawn as a single line, and the outlines are smooth with no jagged edges, so the shapes are easy to color. The thick branch line gives younger kids a clear spot to start. Try coloring each leaf in a different shade of green, then use a darker pencil on the center veins. It also works well for a quick lesson on how leaves attach to a stem. Print as many copies as you need for a classroom nature table.
