Meadow Raccoon Sniffing a Daisy

Low in the grass, a wide-eyed baby raccoon crouches with its nose almost touching a big daisy, ringed tail curled up behind. Clover blossoms, bellflowers, more daisies and lots of leafy plants surround it. Three butterflies flutter overhead, and a small ladybug rests on a leaf in the bottom right corner. Behind the raccoon, tall tree trunks, pine trees and distant hills frame a quiet woodland path. The raccoon's face and the daisy are big shapes, while the smaller flowers need more care, so the page suits kids who like quick coloring and kids who like careful work. Soft grays and browns fit the fur, deep charcoal the tail stripes, and bright orange or red will make the ladybug stand out. Grab the free printable PDF for an afternoon activity.
