Little Woodland Friends With Leaf Umbrellas

Out in the rain, a little mouse, a hedgehog and a squirrel each hold up a big leaf over their heads like an umbrella. The mouse and squirrel wear small capes, and the smiling hedgehog sits in the middle with a leaf tipped over its spiky back. A large spotted mushroom house stands behind them, with a round-windowed door and a hanging lantern. Raindrops fall across the scene, ripples spread over puddles in front, and more mushroom cottages, a small arched bridge and a winding path fade into the distance. Flowers, ferns, a tree stump with a lantern and tiny mushrooms fill the corners. There are lots of small spaces here for crayons or fine markers. Soft blues and purples work for the puddles, red for the mushroom caps, and warm browns for the squirrel's tail and the hedgehog's spines.
