Overhead View of a Leaping Bakugan Hero With Card and Ball
Coloring guide
We see this spiky-haired character from high above, as though they're leaping or tumbling right at us. One arm reaches up with a small round ball pinched between the fingers. The other hand points down and to the left, holding a solid black card. There's plenty to color in the outfit, including a rivet-studded cape or jacket, a wide belt with a round buckle, striped bands on the wrists and arms, and little boots at the bottom. No background is included, which keeps the focus on the figure. Icy blue or bright silver would suit the big spiky hair, and warm orange makes the studded belt pop. - brick red
- golden yellow
- charcoal gray
- light peach
- olive brown
- maroon
- rust red
- dark brown
- mustard gold
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big hair mass and the long spikes on the left and top: color them golden yellow, leaving the small white highlight lines unpainted.
- 2Fill the large cape and the body area on the right with brick red, including the cape folds and the shoulder area behind the head.
- 3Color the face visor and the cheek skin with light peach, keeping the eye whites and the teeth area white.
- 4Add the dark gray glove at the top right, the lower leg, and the claw tip at the bottom left with charcoal gray.
- 5Use dark brown for the chest belt and buckle, and rust red or olive brown for the shoulder plates and wrist armor.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading to the red cape and the gray leg by pressing a bit harder near the edges, then finish with a light touch of mustard gold on the golden hair spike at the top.
