Patterned Horse Head in Profile With Spirals and Stripes

Coloring guide
A horse's head and neck fill the lower part of the page, turned in profile to face the left, with two pointed ears and a small round eye. The whole body of the drawing is split into sections packed with patterns. Square Greek key shapes run along the top of the neck, and a band of straight stripes follows the crest of the mane. Spirals curl across the cheek and neck, and there are concentric circles, zigzag triangles and a round swirl near the chest. A few solid black bands add contrast. The top half of the page is blank, so it also works as space for a background or a name. Try using a different color family for each pattern section, like cool blues for the spirals and warm oranges for the Greek key squares. Fine-tip markers or colored pencils will suit the small spaces best. It's a good free printable for older kids and adults who like detailed designs.
