A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the penguins' feet and beaks in amber yellow, leaving the bellies and eye whites white.
- 2Fill the penguins' heads, backs, wings and flippers with charcoal gray, keeping the white face and belly areas untouched.
- 3Color the snowy hills, the ground and the small ice ponds in ice blue, and add light sky blue to the distant hill on the left.
- 4Stripe the scarf by alternating bright red and forest green, adding a brick red stripe, a burnt orange stripe, an olive green stripe and khaki brown knot for variety.
- 5Color the scarf fringe at the ends in bright red and forest green to match the stripes.
- 6Optional: Add light shading along the penguins' edges with a slightly darker charcoal gray, and leave the snowflakes and snow caps white.
