A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky and buildings: color the distant buildings and window areas with pale blue, and leave the clouds and sky white.
- 2Fill the officer's uniform shirt, sleeves, and trousers with bright blue and navy blue, and the cap with navy blue, leaving the cap badge for later.
- 3Color the bus windows and car windshield with light sky blue, and the bus front and tree areas with leaf green.
- 4Add the road and sidewalk in medium gray, keeping the crosswalk stripes white, then color the red car body and traffic light lamps with bright red.
- 5Finish with peach skin on the face and hands, charcoal gray on the shoes and belt, and golden yellow on the badges and top traffic light lamp.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker gray shading along the road edges and under the bus and car to make the scene feel more real.
